What is TenFour?
A subscription service that works like an outsourced compliance department for small trucking companies: records organized, deadlines monitored, applicable filings prepared for your approval, questions answered by text.
Who is TenFour for?
Owner-operators and fleets up to about six trucks, with growing fleets handled by conversation. If you're leased to a carrier that handles compliance, you may not need us yet — we'll tell you so.
How much does TenFour cost?
$99/month for one truck and one driver; fleets add $59/month per additional driver. IFTA filing is $99/quarter, audit prep is $499 one-time, and DataQs challenges are $149 each. Every price is published.
What does the $99/month plan include?
Compliance monitoring, document organization, deadline tracking with 60/30/7-day alerts, driver file maintenance, drug & alcohol program administration through a partner consortium, Clearinghouse query administration, UCR filing, safety-score watch, an audit-ready vault, and unlimited routine questions by text — all human-reviewed.
Does TenFour work with owner-operators?
They're who we built it for. One truck means you're the driver and the compliance department — we take the second job.
Does TenFour work with small fleets?
Yes — 2 to 6 trucks is our fleet plan, with a fleet calendar and monthly scorecard. Larger fleets start with a conversation.
Does TenFour manage Clearinghouse-related requirements?
Yes — registration guidance, pre-employment and annual query scheduling and administration, C/TPA coordination for owner-operators, and recordkeeping. Steps that must happen inside the government portal are performed by a person.
Does TenFour handle driver qualification files?
Yes — built, maintained, and chased. DQ files are the heart of the service.
Does TenFour replace my insurance agent?
No. Insurance stays with your agent; we track that required filings and certificates exist and don't lapse quietly.
Does TenFour provide legal advice?
No. We provide administrative compliance support — organizing, monitoring, preparing paperwork. We'll cite what a rule says and how carriers typically handle it; when you need legal advice, we say 'that's a lawyer question' and mean it.
What information do I need to get started?
Your DOT/MC number and about 15 minutes. We pull your public record, request what else is needed, and show you exactly where you stand.
Can TenFour help if I already have a compliance company?
Yes — takeovers are routine. We request your records (they're yours), audit the gaps, and pick up the calendar without a lapse.
How does TenFour communicate?
Text first — it's how this industry actually talks — with email for records. Real answers, same day, from a service that knows your account.
Is TenFour affiliated with the government?
No. We are a private company, we are not FMCSA or U.S. DOT, and we will never send you mail designed to look like a government notice.
